1-hour Free Webinar for HR: Shared Parental Leave: A Tool for Cultural Change?

We feel that currently, Shared Parental Leave is a lost opportunity.   We want to share the results of this year’s research from the Uni of Hertfordshire and use them to decide what we can all do next.  Join us for inspiration and an opportunity to share your ideas.

Monday 24th September

12.00-1.00pm

Aim of the Webinar:

To address the impact of low take up of Shared Parental Leave (SPL); to understand why the take up is low and what we can do about it; understand what we can achieve culturally by promoting Shared Parental Leave

Addresses the questions:

  • Why is low take-up of SPL a problem?
  • Why isn’t SPL proving to be more popular?
  • What can we do about it?
  • How can we use a policy change to create cultural change?

Audience:

Anyone who feels passionately about supporting parents equally at work and at home.

Presenters:

Helen Letchfield, Co-Founder of Parent and Professional Coaching, will be discussing the answers to these questions with Dr Ernestine Gheyoh Ndzi, who is a senior lecturer with the Hertfordshire Law School at the University of Hertfordshire.  Ernestine will be sharing the results of her latest research into SPL, followed by a Q&A session, which will allow delegates to share their challenges and their achievements in promoting SPL.
