Mental Health and Resilience for Carers and Parents

Alex started out as a City lawyer, moved into publishing and then found her way into the creative industries as a writer. She continues to write today, as well as publishing a podcast.

She is a qualified ICF accredited coach and a student of NLP and somatic coaching techniques.

Alex believes that people thrive when they can authentically express themselves and leverage their unique strengths. By investing in workplace resilience training and coaching, organisations empower their workforce to become more adaptable, collaborative, creative, and tenacious. Moreover, investing in resilience training equips employees with learned abilities that act as protective measures in demanding work settings, effectively mitigating burnout and stress.

Resilience provides the foundation and the fuel for starting to live adventurously and wholeheartedly. Alex got to where she is now by developing confidence, courage, clarity of vision and learning how to hear her own intuition. That enabled her to move from being stuck, numbing and dissatisfied to open, enthusiastic, calm and confident.

Resilience training can be provided as one to one coaching sessions or group training:

  • Resilience Workshops: 3hrs – up to 8 people, online or in-person. Exercises in resilience to improve engagement, inclusion, performance, collaboration and confidence. Outcomes include higher team cohesion, communication, collaboration and better insulation when it comes to stress.
  • Resilience Training: 2hrs – up to 20 people, online or in-person. Practical, useful deconstruction of the headline ideas around resilience and how to have more of it. Evidence-backed tool kit for challenges like high stress, low motivation, difficult conversations and managing physical health.
