Break the Bias: What bias means to us in 2022

This year’s International Women’s Day theme of #BreakTheBias inspired the creation of this whitepaper.

Whilst the concept of bias in organisations has been under the spotlight for many years now, the team at P&P wanted to bring the concept up to date.

This whitepaper aims to:

• Present our thinking around what bias means to us in this post-pandemic climate
• Consider the impact of present-day bias on individuals and organisations
• Present case studies and other potential solutions around what is already working to combat bias
• Consider what else may be needed to achieve a ‘world free of stereotypes’

Our report is based on a summary of discussions from a roundtable charity event for HR/D&I/L&D professionals, as well as from wider research from our coaching work with individuals in organisations and from other studies in the relevant fields.
