Gin Burchfield is a dedicated and passionate coaching professional who specialises in supporting individuals during times of transition, recognising the many roles that a parent may hold and how compassion can balance the stress of wearing different hats. With a nurturing approach that may include somatic integration, health coaching and professional coaching, and a wealth of experience, Gin has become a trusted guide for many as they navigate significant life change.

Background

Gin’s journey into coaching began with a profound personal experience of developing post-partum Hashimoto’s while navigating single parenthood. She used her career background in Ayurveda and massage therapy while earning a health coaching certification to learn about behaviour change and, ultimately, heal herself.

Later, after marrying her beloved husband and becoming a stepmother (while running her own coaching and wellness business) she recognized the toll these transitions were taking on herself, her family members and her business alike. Determined to help other parent-professionals navigate those changes before developing stress-related health conditions, Gin pursued her PCC and combined her knowledge of health and professional coaching with somatic integration to help others balance professional ambitions with the joys and challenges of parenthood. Today, Gin’s background is a rich tapestry of personal insight and professional expertise, making her an ideal coach for parents at this pivotal time.

Gin has also been a guardian to her Godson, navigating her local court system in the US to advocate for his needs. This gave her a great deal of perspective on foster parenting and adoption. She has a bachelor’s degree in Human and Family Development and worked as a birth doula in her early career. She truly has a passion for helping new parents!
