Approach to coaching
Moving from victimhood and inner conflict to taking responsibility for their choices, Karen’s training and experience allows her to understand what is holding individuals back from creating the life they want, by reflecting on their perceived fears and internal barriers. She then equips them with the understanding and skillset they need to develop the desired behaviours and attitude to find inner peace and fulfilment in the various interconnected roles they play in life. In her approach she taps into her client’s creative side through art exercises, moving them from doing to being, from head to heart and from thinking to feeling.
On a personal note, Karen has lived in 9 different countries across America, Asia, Europe, Middle East & Africa and it is through that, that she has developed a sharp inter-cultural sensitivity and a practical understanding of how any transition can be turned into a transformative opportunity. Karen is blessed to be a mother of a 3 year old boy, who she believes is her greatest student, teacher and source of inspiration in life.
“I had the wonderful experience and pleasure of working one-on-one with Karen. She is very quick in understanding the holistic picture. Her commercial experience together with insight to situational and personality traits greatly assisted me in breaking the complexity down into manageable pieces and brainstorming to find positive forward moving paths.
