Simon Hill

Professional Coach, United Kingdom

Simon is an executive coach, social impact and strategy consultant and father of two teenagers. His mission is to help people think more clearly and act more intentionally – at home and at work. With experience spanning leadership, communication and organisational growth, he works with clients to ask better questions, navigate change and find a balance that works for them and their families.

Background

Simon’s career has spanned music, a national charity and then a senior leadership role in a fast-growing social enterprise. He’s built partnerships across sectors – with corporates, independent trusts and foundations, schools, local and national government – most recently with a focus on education, skills and social mobility.

His turning point came when he was working full time whilst sandwiched between raising young children and supporting ailing parents – and trying to keep work on track. Coaching became a way to work differently – and help others do the same. He lives in South London with his wife and two sons; has served as a charity trustee and school governor.

Experience and qualifications

A former senior leader in social enterprise and national charities, Simon has spent 20+ years helping purpose-led organisations align teams, grow partnerships and deliver impact. He’s worked across sectors to bring together employers, educators and community organisations – with a focus on supporting young people and families through key transitions. Now, as an accredited executive coach through the Association for Coaching, he works alongside people navigating the messy middle between family and work – creating space for clarity, balance and better questions.

Approach to coaching

Simon’s coaching style is grounded, thoughtful and direct – informed by values including open-mindedness, growth and simplicity. He brings calm curiosity, makes space for the unexpected and focuses on what matters most. You’ll find practical thinking tools, sharp insight and someone who gets that sometimes the real challenge is just making space to think at all.
