Navigating neurodiversity for managers and HR

Every day, 1.2 million children in the UK face unique challenges due to special educational needs, including neurodiversity conditions such as autism, dyslexia, sensory processing disorders, ADHD, and ADD, as well as medical or mobility difficulties. While some children receive the necessary support in schools, many others struggle to access the resources they need for academic success and mental wellbeing. This often leaves parents balancing the demands of advocating for their child with maintaining a demanding career, which can take a toll on their mental health and affect their work performance.

In this 1-hour webinar, we’ll explore the realities faced by working parents who have additional caregiving responsibilities. The session will provide insights into understanding special educational needs and the legal frameworks involved, as well as practical strategies to help parents balance their careers while managing their child’s needs. Additionally, we’ll cover effective communication, workload management, and ways to safeguard mental health, enabling parents to thrive both at work and at home.

I was relieved to see that I am not the only one struggling with this. I don’t feel as isolated as I did before I attended this webinar.
